The PSE factory is just down the road from me in Tucson. I may have to take a drive and check out the 80# version of the X-Force. Especially since PSE gives pretty good discounts to Hunter Ed Instructors....

How's this..I was just at the PSE dealer by my house..I needed some stuff, and he was open...a rare thing. Anyway, he's got a bunch of X Forces, and one is his own. He says that he is shooting a 312 gr arrow @62# with a 29 3/4 " draw @ 340 fps!!! He's a really nice guy, and I would have to say that I believe him.

Mine is 347 @ 30" and 63# so I guess I am not missing a whole lot , unless he has the string loaded up

They come with about 4 or 5 nocks shrink wrapped together as speed enhancers (top and bottom). Also, not one Mach X or X Force didn't have a rubber peep tube...you know the peep will never settle with that string. He had all that, plus the string chubs, and one nock surrounded by a loop, with a single STS.

The he is probably 7-10 fps faster than me. On the other hand ........... I am $500. cheaper than he ;D I hope you do get a chance BT. I want to hear firsthand from a knowledgeable source if the claims of quiet and stable are true. Though if yuo wait a month, they will have a 7" BH at 340fps. See, the different being floated by PSE, and seemingly agreed to by shooters, is that this bow is different than all the other speed bows before. That if you WANT the FASTEST, you do not have to sacrifice shootability or the quietness hunters expect. The BK2 may be as fast, but is it really the same from a hunters perspective. The Vectrix may be almost as fast, but it is not AS fast. PSE was shooting for the top and think they hit it, for this year. Me? I'll have to travel 3 hours round trip to get a view of one and the owner needs to be generous to mod it down to 26".

I do look forward to the time where I do get to compare. I might actually be impressed and have to do something about it
