DOH!!!!! ;D ;D ;D In all honesty , I've been doing nothing but shooting every manufacturers bows....from the Gaurdian, to the Drenalin, to the X Force....yadda yadda yadda ....and the result is the HOYT. I never even really considered HOYT as my next bow...it just happened to be my favorite after extensively shooting them all! I wish we could try women out like that! ;D

It wasn't long ago that I was very lonely on the 3D course, I was the Hoyt outcast. Now it just looks like I was ahead of my time In all honesty, i shoot every new bow that comes into the shop and I always end up with a Hoyt. i kinda wish I fell in love with another bow, but it just hasn't happened yet. Just my personal preferance though, because there are many great bows out there today.

If you tried different bows and then bought what was best for you, then no one should ever question your choice.
As for PSE strings, I have found them to be hit or miss. I imagine the X-Force draw cycle is probably a little more mechanical that others, since it is storing more energy to get those speeds.
Luckily, how you draw the bow hardly ever effects how you shoot it. I prefer a small valley and a hard back wall, so I suspect I will like it just fine. And at 26", I could shoot 60#s and get more speed than I am getting right now at 65# and the cycle will not be nearly as bad on the 60# version.
With the new speed gains, Vectrix/X-Force/etc., I'll probably be in the market against next year. It will be a great time to be looking at bows.

I am looking forward to seeing you get one Shaman I'm advocating the X-Force knowledge here because I know you guys are speed freaks and PSE is under represented.... hehe But, I'll go through the same process as last time. Shooting the heck out of the bows in my price range and style preference. Hunting first, recreational 3D second. I have small hands, relatively speaking, so the B.E.S.T. grip really worked for me last time. We'll see what is out there in another year.

Boy, PSE is turning up the heat with the X-Force. First 7" BH and 31" draw announcement and now 80+ lb custom versions:
