I never got to the shop. I went to schedule a string change to WC, Hush Kit, and Limb Pocket Upgrade (though I have not had an creaking), but the owner never e-mailed me back after the first response. None of the other 3-4 PSE Dealers close to me are stocking it. My closes shop part of an outdoor store is actually closing soon, which will SUCK, since that is there I do D.A.R.T.

Have you had a chance to shoot one of these barn burners through a chrono at one of these shops?

Have you had a chance to shoot one of these barn burners through a chrono at one of these shops? Nope. - Closest Shop: Closing - Next Closest: Carries Browning High End, Midline PSE, and no AR - Next Closest: Mathews dealer, PSE in name only - Next Closest: 1.5hrs away. Not made the trip yet. I actually made it to the town on work related business but my meeting went long and did not have time to swing by the shop before they closed. The Mathews Pro (Mathews dealer, PSE in name only) actually shot the 60lb version when the PSE rep came by and was impressed. He did say he really liked 60lb version and its easier draw curve. With the speed it does, he was thinking about it for 3D. They are a pretty small shop and he won't stock it for sale since the mark up is higher on the Drenalin.

Hard to argue with a free bow and higher mark-ups. Got to make money I guess. Can't fault him for that. When I win Powerball I'll start a PSE/Hoyt only shop.

I shot one when I went down and picked up my Vectrix. It was the 60# version and just eyeballing it I would guess the speed was close to my 70# Hoyt. But that is just eyeball, if you read the specs on the PSE website the speed is not that high. It was a lot lighter than my Vectrix.

Yep, Nathan Brooks and E. Griggs tied for fourth with X-Force. Chance L got first with Mojo SD at the first leg of IBO. 3 of top 5 Finishes. Good lead for Manufactures Points. Top 5 finishes with a speed bow? I guess it must be more shootable than the naysayers are tying to imply. Vetrix is nice looking bow, but seems a bit 'thick'. The Hoyt dealer near me is not stocking it. I would love to try it out.

I finally got to shoot the X Force! Dude don't take this the wrong way, but I opted for the Hoyt Vulcan. The X Force was crazy fast...really, but pulling those cams over at the end of the draw cycle was terrible!!! Sort of made you almost forget about it though on the release....my god!!! But as a psycho shooter who shoots everyday, I could never get over that rough spot in the draw, it would make me as nuts as say a "creak"...lmao..seriously, these are the things that ruin a good day of shooting. For 800 plus dollars there's no way that I'm going to buy a bow with a string that's known to be defective!!! There might be a few lucky people out there, but a lot more who have experienced the endlessly stretching PSE string!!! Then when you switch to a custom, the silence, and shock free quality goes right out the door! I know it's not just PSE, but they seem to be the worst of the bunch when it comes to factory strings. Don't mean to be a basher, although as everyone knows, I have every reason to, I'm just saying that faced with paying the same price for either bow, I chose the....... "HOYT VULCAN"!!!! This bow is seriously vicious!

I have to say that it is kinda funny to watch people cheer a different company as they fall in love with someone else:D Kinda like marriages where your wife was the best till the divorse....now the new one is the one you should have had all along. Until that falls apart and then there is the next one ;D ;D I am no different and at the time that the BK2 came out I was a hard core Bowtech fan. Now-a-days I am a Hoyt fan that shoots a Bowtech. (I guess in the same analogy , I would be the guy who stays married and has someone on the side ;D )
