Time is flying by and it will be on us soon Is everyone ready? Not a empty question at all The fact is that many just don't shoot a heck of alot during the winter and this is going to be alot harder than shooting deer....reguardless of what you have heard Don't get me wrong!....you could luck out and have a slam dunk shot but I wouldn't bet on it You should be able to draw fast and get the arrow off within 5 seconds if your on the ground.....double that if your in a tree. Being able to shoot through brush is a must for those who are planning on being on the ground so I would suggest taking some judo points out over the next few weekends and doing just that. JMHO I personally am shooting the recurve which affords me the quick shooting time and I will also have the BK2 back at the lodge in case I have to do any chasing I hope everyone has a good knife and I mean that most sincerely! 10" blade is better to have then not if you get caught in the open and in the cross hairs of a mad Boar. No joke!....dont say I didn't tell you if you experience a Mac Attack and have no steel

Can't wait! I've been doing nothing except shooting out there in the cold, and I'm looking forward to being able to shoot with some feeling in my hands. Good luck on the ground, you guys are crazy! I'm staying high and dry (hopefully), but if it rains I'll be fine as well. Any word on the tree stand situation? Whatever works is fine with me, but if your going to lend me a climber, I need to start practicing with it, as I have fixed ladder stands on my property, and no experience climbing. Not to fear, I'm a fast learner!

I'm not quite ready to hunt pigs with the recurve or longbow. I am still throwing an arrow off target here and there. I am very ready with the compound. we'll see what happens as the time comes.
I'll have the Lone wolf with me so you guys can use it, it only takes a minute to figure it out.
