I don't know what there is to say about what you will want to bring but I would say to keep it simple yet keep all your bases covered as to weather.
Got one of the no heat boot driers.....bring it.
It may not rain but you may walk through water and may have to over and over.
You just never know
Bring some sandwich bags or the equivalent in case you cant dry your boots in time.
You can use these to put over your socks so that the wet boots don't leave you with trench foot at the end of the day.
Bring two bows!
There are no archery shops within 40 miles other than Keystone country store which is still a good haul from the wilderness.
You have waited a long time for this....don't let a busted piece of equipment ruin your weekend
If you dont have two bows then bring enough stuff to rebuild your bow.
There is no time to waste once your there and you could lose a day due to nothing more than a cut string
Bring arrows and heads and plenty of both!
You may only need one arrow/head but I know of one guy who needed 13 arrows to down a boar (all good shots)and I used 4 arrows one time.
Better too many than not enough!
Leave with enough time to allow for errors on your part.
You can always waste time but you can never get back time
Don't worry to much about camo although camo is fine and anything drab will work.
A red flannel and brown pants will work just as good as mossy oak on hogs for the most part.
Camo just allows you to move around more when they get close.
Bring coolers!
Better to come home with 1 full and one empty then to have one full and plenty more laying on the floor of the vehicle covered with bags of ice.
Blood, water and pork juice does not make for a good aroma afterwards
You might want to take advantage of the great facility's at the lodge where you can process your own meat.
If so then bring enough paper and tape to wrap and store.
Bring something for dinners!
There are no dinners offered there and although you could hit the super market in town you wont fell like it at the end of the day
Trust me on this!....this place will kill you if you are hoofing it all day
Maybe some of the tree stand hunters can go to the store but I personally am planning on sitting and staying there at the end of the day.
Anyway.....
Lets bring something to share and all together we should be just fine Friday night
I am doing a boar roast which I will then re-process and make into something else
That's the most important stuff or at least what I can remember of the important stuff
