As exciting the prospect of going to Texas is, I don't know if it's the best idea for the team hunt. I think it's most realistic to choose a place that's within a reasonable driving distance for most of the members. I can see where many cannot/will not venture some 1200+ miles away due to work and family. Add in the airlines and the additional necessary planning, the hassles might outweigh the money saved. It makes most sense, IMO, to stick with Big Boar. It's in driving distance for most members. We've been there before, and know what to expect. I expect the June temps in Moravia to be a touch less oppressive than South Texas. Less rattlesnakes and scorpions, too ;D Plus I need to get my boar skull back |

I talked with Mark Clark a few days ago and he says that he is holding the '08 rates in place for us if we do come.
And dont worry about your Boar skull Doegirl....worst case senerio you and I can go there on an Ashby test Safari! ;D

I've got two weeks left to put in my vacation request for June. We need to decide on a weekend soon. I say 3rd weekend in June would work for me.

O.K....Here's the deal....south won the vote with east as being a second for runner up.
down two places that you would want to go that would be south and mid way between east and south being the second and we will discuss the point or the mid way point where the most suggestions congregate.
Is that fair enough?.
