border hog hunt fits all the things you asked for bt including group rates all inclusive!! But most of these places are stand hunts and that works for some but not for all. I know that Spiker, Doe girl, and Rayzortech dont mind stands but Greg, Randy and myself really like the stalks. Hunting a feeder at night?....I dont mind that because it's a whole different game. I know that Texas midday stalking is not popular but neither is mid day hunting during the summer. It's early A.M. or night.....too damn hot even for the Locals and certainly for the hogs. Another thing is that I think a few are getting burnt out on hogs and want to try hoofed game. Texas is a great option for that but I dont see many options for that at all over the whole list. Those that do offer that opportunity are priced up....Like Paradise. I just blew through the sites last night. I'll go back and keep looking. Just trying to get everyone everything....not easy....never is. your right it gets too hot in texas to hunt spot and stalk during mid day!! i've done it !! I looked up exotics to break up the monotany, but yes it raises the prices considerably but with hogs night hunting would put new spin on the hunting.. Ive hunted brushy hill ranch its a hoot but as with most of these ranchs you shouldn't hunt over the bait site , hunt along the route set up brush blinds and your chances increase !! the animals know they are getting shot at!! I liked brushy hill hunted it 3 or 4 times it can be rustic but clean the hog heaven pasture was the oldest must rustic buckhouse but he (pete ) fixd it up no walk in coolers but in town at the local buther shop there is a place to store your game and processes it!! only $80/ day to hog hunt but i've never seen exotics there tons of hogs!! chambers or bar e both have exotics at about same price

keithjohnsoutdoors, may be big enough but I doubt it. The idea of going this route is to get as many people in as possible. I want to see as many members as possible coming to this 4th annual event. I believe that this option that you want to pursue may be the way to get it done....but every aspect must be perfect....because it can be. KJO looks to be more than 1 ranch so it will be big enough to hunt, same prices as chambers, and bar e too.... this might be good for hoofed persons too hunt. chambers has 2 ranches 1 in sabinal and 1 in del rio, good things said on both. KJO also gets great reviews..

Here is an interesting link to ponder when looking at spots for a group hunt in Texas... Just keep in mind that it is not printed by the state, so I suppose it could be a bit biased... It's still interesting! www.hunting-in-texas.com/learnhogs.htm#hogmap3#hogmap3Here is a state publication, although I think it a bit dated - www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/pwdpubs/media/pwd_bk_w7000_0195.pdfHere are some north Texas locations, referenced from another write up I found online. I am checking through these to see if anything looks interesting - Just looking through the websites, they look a bit pricey. A guy I work with just came back from a Texas hog hunt - north Texas - and I think it was way more reasonable. I'll get that information and post it here as well, I don't know if it is anywhere near an airport. They drove down. I'll see what I can find out. saw this map before , yes south texas is covered in pigs but that map is old hogs have taken over texas!! thats why there is no closed season, hunt at night with lights , shoot from helicopters ,landmine them...... what gets me about some ranches in tx is that they are vermin to ranches and now a cash crop some places charging ungodly prices most day leases are cattle farms so they want hogs gone cause they do so much damage to fields so the farmers spend more money on feed for the cattle..a field doesn't grow back well after group of pigs tear up a field and eat tender roots of grasses...

I couldn't find pricing on Plasca which is generally a bad sign in as much as bad means expensive. The rest are the real deal but right out as far as expense if $800. is the target. Keep looking!!

How about getting an idea of what area is out and what area is in as far as travel?. Is everyone up for flying and three days away?. That should be a consideration I would say. Personally....I dont know as it's that big of a deal but it's a personal thing and I wouldn't want to assume.

put up a survey!! i'm sure if people live close they will drive, some might fly if price is right. 2nd survey should be how long do they want to spend on the hunt.. 3rd survey what they want to hunt hog only , exotic only, or both

This is the survey! I think 3 days is a given if you flying or driving to be honest. We have always done three which works out to be 1.5 days hunting. I dont think anyone wants to do all this prep for one day or can do more than 3 days. Vacation time and family just prevents it. As much as I detest planes and the air traffic control crap....$150. is doable..barely noticeable. So I dont think that has anything to do with it.

I'm up for anything and can make anything work, so everyone else should decide first
