I've used Trophy Takers for years and love them you can handle that slap with a little saddle cloth on the shelf.

I know there are a lot of people on here that like the qad but imo you are asking for trouble with them. They just have to many cheap moving parts that can fail, and they do fail I used to shoot them. Plus on anything except a single cam any rest served into the bus cable can and will affect timing. That is why I tried the Limbdriver over 3 years ago and I haven't looked back. They are by far the toughest, easiest to set up,most accurate dropaway I have used. I only hunt I am not a target shooter and have LD's on all of my bows. I have hunted in every type of weather imagineable, and never had a problem. Rutnstrut, I know I am little late in the game here but how did you quieten the limbdriver. I have a limbdriver and it is definitely a good rest bt I had to wrap it completely in moleskin to keep it quiet when the arrow was drawn across it. I use GoldTip Hunter XT and on teh bare metal launcher it always made noise. Really my only complaint. But its still a good low impact rest.

I use GoldTip Hunter XT and on teh bare metal launcher it always made noise. Really my only complaint. But its still a good low impact rest. I also have the launcher wrapped in a light moleskin,I don't know what kind as I got a bunch of it from my favorite archery shop. It is deffinately lighter/thinner than most moleskin though. It is also tougher than reg moleskin. I shoot almost everyday, and at least 5 days a week on avg of 100 arrows each time. It has held up all year every year for the last 3.5 years on my origional LD. The only reason I replace it every year,is to not have any unwanted suprises while hunting. To those that asked about my probs with the QAD,yes it was one of the early models. I just love the LD's to much to try anything else again. I also will not use a rest that actuates with the down bus cable. I just don't like taking chances, but that's just my opinion.

I agree that the limb driver is the way to go. I hunt, shoot spots, and 3d and have had no issues with the rest. To me any type of rest that ties on the cable will have some type of timing issues that may effect your shooting.
