Decided to try out bow shooting (maybe hunting later) so scoured eBay for a couple of weeks and finally purchased a year old Golden Bear Obsession complete outfit. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this bow and any comments or suggestions they would make. Thanks

I don't know the age of the bow but the specs sound about right. The seller advertised it as one year old and in new condition. To stilllearning, it's me!

If you can supply a pic I am sure there are a number of folks here who will be able to suggest something if need be

I am not sure how to attach a picture to a response. I do have one but it is a little fuzzy but should serve the purpose.

It was a lot of fun just watching so I can just imagine what it will be like to actually shoot. I think that I will need bigger targets! Discovered that the Golden Eagle Obsession is made by Fred Bear Archery Co. who own Golden Eagle , Jennings & buckmaster brands. Not as well known maybe, but the reviews aren't bad on them. I hope that the good eyes I seem to have hold up under the pressure of shooting, maybe as early as next Tuesday.

I knew it was a bear bow and all the other brands are well known but they are all owned by Bass Pro shops since they Bought bear. I guess they like to keep under the radar as far as ownership goes.
