Funny thing is that I was going to reply to that very fact Michi. Good catch ...... I was going to reply.... but I just finished a pizza and I needed the time to go have a smoke.

Nah - they just need to get the deer used to seeing 'em drive around on tractors - it's kinda like fast stillhunting from an elevated stand - otherwise known as off-road-hunting.

What kind of hunters are you guys? Tired after a few 100 yard walks? Might want to think of some training before season!! Hate to see one of you guys have an accident dragging a 150# deer a few 100 yards. That is a fair question! Maybe you guys should come out and go elk hunting with me some time. I'm thinking that little 100 yard walk won't seem so nasty afterwards...

I am thinking that you'd get a bit more exercise than I if you took me with you. After having to dig a 6' hole and then fill it in again ... you'd be happy to have had me stay home rather than dieing on the side of a mountain trying to follow you

Who said anything about a hole? all god's critters got to eat. some nicely marbled flatlander is just what griz look for ... course that may be cause the nicely marbled flatlander's are the first to fall behind in the race to get away and get caught first.

You know, anything that dies in the woods while I am there - I just feel obligated to gut and quarter it and pack it out... Although, I suppose I'd rather just debone it...
