Ok, I'm back with the 100 yd poke '07. This one is titled "BROADHEAD ATTACK". I shot a Muzzie 4 blade, Bunker Buster, Montec, Turbo all in 100 gr., and an 85 gr. Magnus Stinger. First pic is what 100 yds looks like: First shot is low with a field point..trying to get the yardage adjusted at 90yds.: second shot is ok at 90 with a field point: Tried 100 with a Montec, but fell short. Adjusted for range and shot a Turbo: Next up..85 gr Magnus Stinger: Back to the Montec : Back to the Turbo..man, can't get it to track..I could see it swerving in flight : Next was a Bunker Buster, although with the Quickspins, which are heavier than the Blazers..no fault of the head or shooter. : Ok , a Bunker Buster with Blazers: Dam n Muzzie!! Just high, but tracked perfectly. A miss none the less in the cardboard backer: Too show how much heavier the Quickspin vanes are than the Blazers, I shot a group of three FPs: There it is, another shot at the 100 mark with broadheads...a big difference with a faster bow than last year.

I don't know dude ..... that is some pretty crazy grouping. Better knuckle down for a week or so and then try again. Don't you make me put a 100 pin on this bow

Yeah that's Michi on the speaker phone..good likeness of him if I do say so.. I didn't take any practice shots, other than the first three that got me within range. I tried to use the same arrow for most of the shots, except that BBs are a little hard to get off and on, so I left those alone. I can't say whether or not you could call that a good test of a BHs flight, but it did seem that the Montec, and BB were the best fliers at that range. If I get another nice day, I might practice a bit, and then re-shoot the "BH Attack" again... Bambeklr, Royden, BT, get out there and try it, it would be good to see the different fletches, arrows..etc, and how they fare out there....and of course...it's all about the BROADHEADS!!

I did some 70 yard shots with the recurve today and it took me three shots to get on the bulls eye. Crazy thought ... launching @ 70 yards

First two shots were bottom of the chest while the third found center. Not to bad since I haven't shot distance in a year
