I've heard of that too, that works with rod and reel fishing pretty well. I just don't see how it'd work with bowfishing.....I mean could you imagine the vet bills just to keep it alive for a week No really, i want to check into something. A guy I met says he sells his for $1 a pound to a few people he knows that love them. He says they make all sorts of ethnic dishes out of them. Man.... a few days last summer I came home with well over 100#'s of fish. Now that's a job I could learn to love

Here in Pok. you'll get bum rushed if you bring one of them out of the water and toss it on shore!. Kinda like throwing a deer up on my yard ....it isn't going to be there for long

Ray and I went out this afternoon and each connected on a fish. I didn't weigh them but his was around 18-20#'s and mine was around 25#'s I bet. Good fish. We had a bunch more shots and spooked a few too. At least we found them today. What a blast. I'll have pictures soon.

So we moved our boat to a different resivoir yesterday. We decided to get out and try to shoot a few fish this morning and to scout the new waters. It was the worst weather for it. It was cloudy and raining. We still went for it though. We missed a few "easy" shots and spooked a ton of fish. We couldn't see them because of the rain and the glare, the water was a bit muddy too, from the downpours we had last night. They would let us get in top of them and then split, leaving the telltail wake and mud clouds. it was frustrating, but in two hours we kicked up well over 100 fish. I can't wait to go back when the weather is in our favor.

My buddy asked me to go out for carp tonight after work. We each got two, missed a few and saw plenty more. The water was murky from all the rain but his secret hotspot payed off.
