Sort of The carp are coming up to spawn as always and the rivers are so swollen that I couldn't see one if it was under me I really wanted to take my kids for the first time this year but it isn't looking good so far Maybe I will get lucky though and the streams will die down before the spawn is over Now I know it may be early for some but lets not get shut down on the fish this summer like the turkey hunters have gotten shut down this spring

BT- I was out yesterday, the water was so murky and the clouds were out. Kept spooking fish under the boat before I could shoot. Threw a couple of arrows at fleeting targets without any luck. I don't even hunt the spawn on most years, I aways get a ton of them in july and august. The average fish is about 25#'s and last year I took a grassie that tipped at 37#'s and 42". I always have a couple of open spots down here, come summer.

4 days without rain and I should be good I would say. We did catch some rock bass while we scoped it out though so no big loss of an evening outing
