Now that's funny! ;D I assumed that you were referring to me as Skip, because of all the times that he has deer everywhere, and then the days you go out, they seem to disappear! ;D What a hoot...it's funny either way you look at it! The guy who shoots any legal deer, is not pumped about a legal bird. I would be ALL over that bird. I took a jake with the gun last year and shook harder than if a P&Y was in front of my treestand. I would go out there in the morning and show that bird how you play some "string music".........and I ain't talking 'bout the guitar  |

Yes, I know but I have a confession to make............. After seeing a recent members Turkey mount I realized that, and it's hard to say this..... I'M GOING TO GET THAT BIG TOM MOUNTED!!!!!  So, you see, this changes things, at least for the time being, and just in case you didn't catch the time.....it was 6 PM! Not legal shooting time, but then again, I will tell you that I happened to be playing a little guitar at the time, and I think that the young bird was quite impressed, and after he tells the hens, I'm sure they'll be coming around a lot more often. |
