Yeah I just haven't put it on yet. I'll be delving into that shortly. I'm still not satisfied with how the HHA looks on the bow. I think I'm just going to have to tram it in using an indicator ... that should be good. I'm sure a shop wouldn't go thru that much trouble, and I probably shouldn't either ... it just looks a little ... I don't know, off a bit.

You will Love this bow! The Vulcan is pretty much my favorite bow. i'm shooting 5gpp with a 29" DL and a loaded string, no "speed Balls" and pushing 316FPS. It shoots light out, not like a bow with a 6" BH

I've got it put together, even with a 4 year old hanging on one of my arms! I haven't had a chance to shoot it, or set anything, that will likely come tomorrow. I will also be putting it thru the Chrono ... then I will begin tinkering. I bet it would make it a LOT easier setting everything up if I only had a bench vise or better yet a bow vise!

I had one of these actually, but had to return it ... defective. Instead of getting another one, I just got store credit.
Compared to the new bows, I agree the Vulcan is like night and day.
After getting everything put together and finally looking correct I decided to let one fly. Since I'm out at the old man's house I figured hey if I miss no biggie ... there's nothing around for a while, certainly in bow range. We used an old aluminum arrow, and shot at the old target to see if I got the timing right on the drop away. (By the way, I want to say it was about a 26" arrow ... " Let it loose, heard it hit the target, but that's it ... it went right through it like hot butter. Couldn't find it, but then we didn't look real hard. ;D Toooooo cold, anyway today I think some walk back tuning is in order. Also going to need to get that HHA set. Also going to have to get it on the Chrono. It's not the shoot through type of Chrono, but it should get us fairly close nonetheless.
Radarchron Arrowspeed Chronograph ,,, the one that screws into the stabalizer hole.
I kept telling him this bow is faster than either of our other ones .... he's now a believer. LOL

That one looks interesting, and has some good reviews ecept for a guy that uses an air rest, which has magnets. Probably effects the unit. If your a gun shooter also, you mght want to get the tripod mounted Pro Chrono, or Chrony.

Went to the shop down the road from my Fathers house ... just got back in fact. I lost one arrow, picture and explination will come a little later. 360 GR arrow thru the chrono went at 272 FPS at 62# @80% letoff. Now that I know that, I can start taking things off the string ... I'm sure that will increase the FPS. I'm sure it would increase the FPS if I altered it to 65% letoff too. His went at 246 FPS @ 60#

Go down to a 320 gr arrow, and see the chrono light up. That's a Victory VF HV350. You won't be sorry at 5.1 gpp.

A guy at the range pulled one of those out and hooked it up to his captain, and his buddies admiral ... they both gained 30 FPS.

Just remember, divide the bows poundage by the weight of the arrow, and if it's 5gpp, or up, you are good.
