Hey stillearning!....know what I just noticed?. You got as much penetration with your arrows as I did with an arrow that weighs nearly 900 grains. Very cool.

Good Doegirl and I'll agree that indeed you probably would have cleared it had the head been razor sharp. Maybe not by much but by some

Now this is going to show how un educated I am with fletching. you suggest a 4 fletch patern. does it stabilize the arrow quicker with the 4 fletches? How do you index the arrow with the four fletch or do you not have to worry about indexing anymore? If you have one fletched with 4 could you take a picture for me so I can see what I should do please. I find pictures with a description helps a lot with my brain. ;D ;D I almost forgot to ask do you use all the same color with 4 fletch or do you still use two colors? Man I realy am showing how much of a rookie I am when it comes to understanding the fine art of fletching. ;D ;D

Dont you read the tests?! ;D remember that we had a discussion about 4 v.s. three a couple of weeks ago?. 4 is faster and easier. index the head @ 12 & 6 Index the vanes @ 10-2-4-8 O'Clock. All the same color or all four different colors wont matter....no matter which way you load the arrow will be the right way By the way... You have a 4" gap @ 30 yards. If you set the sight pin (top) to hit 2" high at 15rds it will hit 2" low at 30yrds. This will allow you to hold center at anything under 27 yards and you wont even be able to see the difference for hold over @ 30 yards since your pin head covers that space. Basically.....it's basically a hold on center right out to 30 yards rig at this point. Past 30 yards, your looking at a 10" drop for every 10 yards. If you stop shots that are past 35 yards you'll be fine by holding the pin dead on (not on top) the deers back @ 35yrds.

I can't wait to get my hands on this thing and the snow to go away so I can shoot farther than 20 yards. Yea no I didn't see that discusion at all I have been concentratiing on what has been going on in this thread and the archery group thread almost exclusivly. I know not smart. I will look at the other thread before I ask any more questions. HEHEHE
