OK I found the Easton Diamond Vanes in the 1.75 inch size. 13.50 for 50 so I ordered 100 and they will be in Houlton in time for next weekend. I will get the arrows cut and fletched as soon as I can.

My alternate broadheads came in yesterday. They're Zwickey Eskimos and I also got 125 grain steel adapters to make a total head weight of 250grains. The Zwickeys are MUCH easier to sharpen than the Grizzlies. I'll probably lose some penetration, but my gut feeling is to use the Zwickeys for next April's hunt. Something tells me the red deer won't know the difference.

now the last package I was hoping would be here...... the fletches....... will not be in untill Monday.......... I will be back home by then...
So for now I will have to use the old blazers I have and then we can even see if the the fletches help.

Zwickey Eskimos are a good head. I think you are right, the red deer won't know the difference.
