Now, did he shoot that at 103 yds? Did I hear that correctly? What kind of broadhead was that anyway, everytime I freeze frame it, it looks like a field point. Shaman, you have a good pute, can you see it any better?

PSE never said it was 100yds. It 'might' be, one of their pro shooters took Mulie at 80yds with mach X. But until PSE says it was 100yds, I'll reserve judgment. expandable.. could not tell which.

I heard the guy with the range finder say 103yds, one oh three yards... People are debating that quite a bit. Let me know when PSE says it was 100 yds. So far it is just some guy with a vid on youtube saying it was. PSE has a vid catalog on youtube and they say the Mach X @80yds is true. Let's wait and see if anything is said officially about this one. And even so. I don't think I am in a place to judge the ethics of such a shot. I may not be confident in a humane and quick kill at 100yds, but that does not mean that no one can or should. Is it unethical to drive 200MPH and endanger the people around you? 'Cause, NASCAR guys do it all the time. Just because I can not do something does not necessarily mean no one else should. Does not look like 103yds to me on video. But then again, I can't go a round in 3D without shooting a '5'. 50-60yds or 100-105yds, I'm not sure I would know the difference on video... hehe. ;D

well, if in fact it was 103 yds, it is crazy. that deer was moving and there was brush all around it. taking a 100yd shot MAY be one thing, but no one can really tell how much to lead a moving deer at that range what if it stoped? or took a faster step? The guy holding the rangefinder in the video is the one saying 103yds, so it's not like someone just made it up. they both seemed very nonchalant about making such a long shot.

I could take that video and create any audio I wanted for it. I could also post it and write anything I wanted for a description. Might be a fun project tonight. Just strip out that audio and add in some music. See how tired I am. Really though, I've just been posting information, pics, and vids. I'm trying to leave the 'ethical' debate for the other thread.
