2007 Iron Mace

Those numbers are outstanding!
They also point to what I have been saying for some time as to the need for high speed testing.
5 years ago I was told that speed bows would never make their way into the woods in any real numbers.
At that time there were 2 bows capable of those speeds.
Now there are 5 bows that are hitting the 325+ mark in the hands of Bowhunters and three of them are purportedly very comfortable shooters.

I've owned a Black Knight 2 5.5 brace and a Bt Pro38 dually. My shoulder hated those duallys but both were fast. I got 343fps from the BK2 and 328fps from the Pro38. It was really the nearly non-existant valley that caused me to get rid of both bows. The valley is also one of the things that made me chose the IM over the X-force. That and more brace height and more let-off. It was still a hard choice since I love speed.

The low wrist grip on the mace took a couple of weeks to get use to. Mine has the side plates. The one piece wood grip looks to be a little higher wrist. Now that I'm use to the side plates, I probably won't change.

I'm going to set up some of the 5.5 grain per inch Speedpros today and see just what this sucker will do maxed out and shooting light.

i have a 07 iron mace sweet bow hardly any hand shock with light exp. with the sts they r not 750 they have a gut on AT his name is chop he can get one to your door for 640.00
