Skip, I believe Elite Bows and HCA did hook up to make this bow.... Kevin Strothers and Richard Newberry are friends. There's been rumoor (and I repeat RUMOR) that these two may have hooked up when Elite started having problems producing bows but nothing has been confirmed. It is true however that Richard Newberry is now the owner/partner of HCA. |

Oh that explains it. I have some and they seemed to reduce noise on my bow. Havent thought about it too much, I got them for free.
