Which again is evidence of the need for flight testing now-a-days.

I have hunted with a 300 grain arrow for over 10 years and have always had a pass through...even out at 50yrds. No problems there when you have the speed to add the punch Really glad to have another speed freak on here Which arrows are durable enough for hunting and yet are this light? 300 gr is finished weight, w/ broadhead? Thanks,
Red

Then you have a hot one. Two of my nephews own Tech 29's and neither will come close to your speeds. Both are pulling 29.5 amo draw and will shoot 312 fps-350gr-70lbs. Actual letoff is 63% with very little valley.
Perhaps the Tech 29 really steps up with heavier arrows. 350gr are all I've shot through theirs when I replaced the strings and cables.

RedYep, the SpeedPros. I've got them in 5.5 gpi and 6.2 gpi. So far all I've tried is the 6.2 gpi.

Not sure mines a "hot" one as you say. They IBO at 318. My Birth Certificate came in at 321fps at 71" with the 29" DL. That was verified on several occasions and all readings came in from 317- 323fps. Mines an '03 T-29 with the Infinity cam. Any idea what your nephews are? What was their Birth Certificates ratings? Do they shoot with peep and loop? Any nocks other than the speed nocks? String silencers? My string is naked except for a loop.

If I remember right both of their BC's said 319 fps at 72 lbs. actual draw length for both of the was right at 29.5"
The thing I didn't like about the bows was their small valley. For the money, they are real power houses though.
Another nephew bought a Mathews SQ2 at the same time. He turned his power cable up till he could shoot as fast as the Tech 29's. He was pulling 86 lbs. ;D
I finally talked him into letting me set the bow back to spec before he destroyed it.

For as small as this bow is, I find it as comfortable to shoot as bows 8" longer. As for power? This one has it for sure. I get a kick out of people that see me shooting what appears to be a kids bow. In fact, both of my sons youth bows were longer than this one!! ;D ;D Ive yet to shoot the Iron Mace but am looking forward to it as soon as I get a chance.
