What do you think the reason was for the limb to fail? Over drawing? Was there a chip in the glass? Flaw in the wood? Old age? Also, what was the draw weight on it again? If it was a light draw, we could try to fix it. However, nothing is for sure on that! It would help to understand why it let go to begin with. To attempt a fix, I might be able to send you a couple things that would help... I will need to talk with my pal Tom, who makes some great glass bows! But again, why do you think it let go?

NAh....it was 30 lbs. 58" A.M.O. After looking at it closer, it may have been age or over-drawing (but I know better than that, and SL wasn't drawing far enough either..... Oh the crack can across the limb by 3/8" and the ran up down the limb toward the fade by about 1 inch.....this was approx. 6" from the fades on the lower limb too!

So - do you want to try to fix it?

smj do you think it is possible to fix? I always thought when a limb cracked it was done and should be put up for decoration. Very interesting stuff here. I learn almost as much stuff from this site as I do from Eastern. But don't tell him I said that.

SMJ...sure if you got some ideas, I'm all ears...I may learn something. I was thinking of thinning some epoxy and warming it, to see if I could get that crack to drink it in...would that work?
