Go with the single blade model, as it has two screws that hold the blade in place. Even with the bleeder in place on the four blade, that one screw can only take one or two practice shots before it allows the blade to move, and cause the broadhead to wobble... If your tuning, and don't notice it, it will scew your results.. I just got two new packages of 100 grain 2 bladed broadheads. There is only one screw to hold the ferrule and the blade in place. Design change ?

This is the one that spiker and I are familiar with. As you can see , there are two screws that are located in the ferrule with opposing locations. Not sure how a single screw could be better.

I dissambled one, and the blade has still has two holes. The ferrule only has one. I wonder if this is trully intentional or a lot of heads that slipped past drill press #2 ;D Hopefully this pic will give an idea of what's going on. Maybe a call to Magnus is in order.

I sure hope that my post don't cause your problems,BT Certainly not my intention. I thought about posting this issue on other boards, but I don't want to be regarded as a poop-stirrer. Let's see what Magnus says first.

;D Thanks for the concern but don't even think about it.....this is a broadhead site primarily and nobody has enough weight to change the protection of free speech that is based on fact and opinion based on fact

Trilby...just send an email to Magnus...they are a company that stands behind their product....if there is a problem (which it looks like there is..should be two holes in the ferrule)..they will take care of it before you can blink... Their customer support is amazing..trust me... Oops! I see you did that already.. You'll be happy with their response..

Well, it's been about a week since I emailed tech support. No response. I assume, by the lack of response, these heads will now sport 1 screw instead of 2. I'm none to happy about this. How can one screw keep that blade from being knocked off center? It's back to the SST Boss for me. I still want to get a response from someone at Magnus. I posted this issue on AT with the pic. I know the Magnus owner is on that board from time to time. www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?p=5746443#post5746443
