I think the only animal that she could shoot would be a yote anyway...she really hates them, as they come around far too often...but other than that , it's targets for her...so with those GT Ultralight 600s, she really gets some zip out to 50 yds..

Throw a road kill out on the edge of your field and get her up a tree for the tourney

The only problem is that I'll be hunting with you....that leaves her home alone....prob locked in the bedroom....looking out the window, wishing I was home.....

That's awesome Spiker! I am thrilled to see your wife picked up on the archery so quick. She looks like a natural. There is usually archery leagues in every town you go to, do you have a local Sportsman's club or #D place? She would have a blast there I bet, and after a while probably change her mind about actually hunting something with it.

Welcome to our board huntbunny6! Looks like we're going to have to put up a welcome board over here too. Yeah, she picked it up pretty quick...but she is an animal person, she won't even let me shoot the bunnies when they eat her flowers. But she does hate the yotes...nice one that you guys got by the way. .But she's not much for roughing it in the outdoors, getting up before dawn and all that. I'm not sure there are any leagues, or even ranges near me...I'm pretty far out in the country, but we have enough land to be able to shoot when ever we want. She'll probably start up again in the spring...thanks for the comments... I did fletch her up some Pink feathers for the GT Ultralight 600s: And she did well with them:

Thats awesome shooting, must have been some great coaching on your part, Hoyt makes a great line of products, as I am sure you know, and I agree, with her shooting that well, let her get whatever she wants. I shoot a lot with my girlfriend, and she also is a great shot, and it doesnt get any better than your spouse being your shooting partner, and hunting partner!

She does look to be an awesome shot. If nothing else it is much more fun when you are frustrated to go fling some arrows instead of scrubbing floors or pans ;D
