41.5#...26" DL.(although the mods say 26.5). Arrows will be cut at 25 9/16", then add fp to even up flush with the front of the riser. But....I'm still not 100 per cent on that DL..I'll post a pic tomorrow. I was teaching her how to center the site within the peep, and place the appropriate pin on the target. She picked up right where she left off.

Now this REALLY burns me! I was struggling with the 32 1/2" ATA..realizing eventually that there was not a thing to be done..Kris confirmed this, better off he says, and he's right...but....dammit, I want the specs on the money! So..according to the Diamond site, the ATA should be 30 12". Then I see this article, and the guy specs the ATA AT...32 1/2"!!! WTF! ............ Want to know what REALLY REALLY burns me?!!! I'll tell you....I emailed Diamond to ask them about this, prior to seeing this article, and their answer was.......contact the dealer you purchased the bow from to resolve this issue!!!!!! I'm not saying another word...truly I'm not....really..I mean it!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!! Ok, I'm done, the bow is shooting great, it needs the obligatory string, that I'll also remain silent about!! Anyway, enough about me, here's the link...... www.bowhunting.net/artman/publish/BalazsDiamondEdge.shtml

Axle-To-Axle - 32 1/2 " IBO Speed- 272-280 fps Brace Height - 6 ¾"Mass Weight - 3.3 Draw lengths - 18" - 28" Draw Weights - 29, 40, 50 The brace doesn't match these specs does it? Look .... I know you a stickler and I appreciate that .... I REALLY DO! But ..... As you say...shooting great You can say what ever you want about this issue here. You bought this bow and if it has issues then why shouldn't you make other members aware of what they are so that they are not blind sided on their purchase That being said .... shooting great doesn't sound half bad , specs aside

I'm ok with that aspect of it...specs and all, just not with the fact that Diamond couldn't have just given me the correct ones instead of blowing me off! Not another word.....really!

Just finished reading through this thread and it is great A couple things to remember when getting your wife or girlfriend started in archery are: 1. Our hands are more sensitive to vibrations, so if the bow vibrates to much after the shot, it is not comfortable to us. 2. The same goes for the "jump" after the shot. I have found the parallel limbs help with this issue. But few bow companies make parallel limbed bows for shorter draw lengths. It is getting better, but they still have a ways to go. 3. Our hands are smaller and the grip needs to feel good and fit our hands. So take the time to change them out until it feels good in her hand.

Yeah, this was over the summer. Funny you should mention the grip because she loves the one on the Diamond. I had to Moleskin the toy Bear model because she was complaining about how it felt....even after grouping at 50 yds! This summer I'm going to start to assemble somewhat of a 3D range on the property, so that should be fun...
