OMG! I bought this little "toy" bow for the wife because she wanted to shoot, and can't pull my bow's weight. I figured that she wouldn't use it much, and I was pretty much right..until today! I tuned it up for her and Fletched three arrows with 4 2" feathers. I'd say this was after about 4 or 5 rounds..getting sighted in, and all. That was at 20 yds..so then...she says..I want to do 30! I forgot that I told her she couldn't move back until she had a good group in the center.. A few groups of sighting in the 30 yd pin, and!!! Anyone selling a Micro Midas, or similar youth/woman's bow?

Spiker....you're the hoyt man....look into the Selena. super adjustable. Available in "pretty" target colors, and an all around good bow. Jen is getiing in the low 250fps area, at 39 pounds, with a 220 grain arrow.

Don't think that she hasn't seen the catalog.... I have to be sure that she is going to use it before I plunk down that kind of cash...that bow looks real nice...BT was impressed with it, as well as Jens shooting.

A "nice" bow might actually get her more interested in shooting. Next thing you know you'll be off shooting 3D every weekend too!
Everyone has been impressed with the bow... it isn't a very parrelell bow, and has some hand shock, but it doesn't bother Jen at all. The adjustable dl is a sweet option, though the draw cycle does get a little tougher as you make the draw longer.

Great...everyones spending my money now!! ;D Seriously though, I didn't realize that all of Hoyt's bows come in 40#- 80# except for the Selena, and the lighter Trykons. 30#-60# on the Selena make it atttractive...she is actually pulling 40# on that little Bear. Oh yeah...where do you get those light arrows?...220gr?
