Thanks for the comments. I was thinking that I might try a little shorter draw length when the modules arrive. The guy I bought the bow from forgot to ship them but they are on the way. I don't know if 30.5" is possible or i have to go to 30", but we will see. I will look at the hand issue tomorrow night when I shoot and get some additional pictures. I may have more questions on that one!

I can shoot 1" short but I don't because it throws me. Perhaps you can shorten it up by adding some twists to the string. No more than 8 IMO

Wait for the modules!! He's a newbie BT!! ;D ...... come on now! You'll Never know what to ask if idea's aren't tossed into the ring Most all bows have 1/2 adjustment anymore May just be a matter of calling the manufacturer and asking the question I myself do not know that bow

Well, we shot last evening and stilllearning got a couple of pictures of me at full draw for analysis. Here is one; This is a shot of one my best groups of the evening. I'd love to think that I could do that when the real thing is in front of me!! I don't know if the Golden Eagle has 1/2" adjustments or not. I'll wait until the modules arrive (should be any day now) and will look into it. There doesn't appear to be any way on the existing 31"module to get 1/2" adjustment.

Notice the hand as the fingers are NOT wraped around the riser anymore and the grip has relazed a lot.

I believe that you will find that 1/2" shorter draw will work very well. If you look at the pic you will see that 3/4 of the nock length (at least) is past the corner of your mouth. The full nock length looks just a bit short. A full 1" on the module will allow you a bit of bend in the bow arm while taking that x-tra out of the draw length. That about it. Looking really good

I truly hate this. Seems I'm always disagreeing with you BT but here it goes anyway. Most people that are into specific types of forms normally will tell you that the nock should be directly below your eye. From the pic that is happening. But I agree about the bow arm. In my humble opinion, you are better served with a bent bow arm (slightly; just enough to unlock the joint). My reasooning is for aiming purposes. It's easier to use the muscles in your forearm to let a pin float into a target than to use the shoulder muscles. Think of it as holding a stick and trying to point at something. Is it easier holding it at the end or in the middle? When you lock your elbow you are now using your shoulder muscles primarily to aim.

Thanks for the pointers bowtech. The draw doesn't feel uncomfortable at 31" but how would I know what it should feel like? I figure that I won't know until I try. I suspect that the adjustment on this bow goes in 1" increments. If I do find that 30" is better, will I have to shorten all of my arrows?

You can also lengthen/shorten the draw a little with a string loop.
