well guys its getting close to our annual hog hunt  going on Jan 26,27 . its a new place, so we are kinda excite to see how it goes this is the web site of the place we are going to (BT, if I'm not allowed to post web Addy sorry) www.huntnshoot.comhere is the kicker, the weekend of the hunt is the weekend of our anniversary 24 yrs. so I'm kinda walking around here on my tip toes, if you know what i mean. anyway cant wait |

looks like a good time !! i'm heading out that way hopefully feb time frame hitting wimberley , san antonio area.. i also have heard good things about this and matts apple orchard towards houston area.. want lots of photo's and story

I'm in between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. I am going out monday to put a game cam at one of the stands and also to try to stick a piggy  I promise yall won't be disappointed if you gave my place a shot. I would even do a special discount for members of this site. Sorry for tootin my own horn BT, I don't want to piss our sponsors off  |

UPDATEFor everyone here....MacDaddy has been a friend of mine over the net for a few years now and he called me on his way back home from this hunt. I was waiting for him to post but I will fill in the void here since he is either busy at work or other .... Mac took 4 good hogs and one of the party took an arrow in the gut  Seems that a father and son were in the wrong place at the wrong time and the sons arrow hit the father after deflecting off a stump when he shot over the hogs back.  The ambulance took an hour to get there and an hour to get to the hospital. The father was released the next day after the wound was cleaned and sutured but went straight home rather than heading back to camp. (DUH!) Fortunitly....the head he was hit with was a '07 fail rated head No Joke ..... had it been...lets say...a Phantom .... he might well have been dead by the time they got him to the hospital.  (Thats a long response time in my book!  ) All were reported well.
