Most everyone said it here but I would most definitely wait until he exists the water. To many unknowns and like Doegirl said all thats sticking out is muscle and bone, could be a rock below the water line.

I dont believe there really is a "perfect shot " on a hog. They are tough as nails man Yes and imagin a hog during the warn season in a palmetto swamp A same weight hog will far out distance a deer and therefore the higher losses due to conditions and lack of blood. Hogs do not bleed well when hit with average broadheads and they seal up really well if they are fat
