No doubt about it. I have often recommended getting a cheap bow from ebay just for building the back/shoulder muscles. Generally the people that do that end up wanting to shoot the stick and often times will start hunting with it as well. There really is no greater satisfaction than taking any animal with a simple stick and string I am amazed at how true this is turning out for me. In just a couple weeks I see a huge difference. I am enjoying my new recurve immensely. When I brought it home I thought,"I'll probably never hunt with it." But now I can't wait to take it out and hunt with it.

That's what I'm afraid of, kind of It probably wouldn't take too long for me to work up to a 40-45lb bow. Then I'll have an agonizing decision to make, which will hunt with me, the 'curve or the Bowtech.

It's a great delima .... just ask Arwin I got back into the traditional stuff maybe 5-6 years ago and to be very honest....I dont want to hunt with the compound anymore. I only do so when pressed to make the kills in order to fill the freezer. In the early part of the year , it's all recurve....all the time

I can see that this is a good shooter. Perfect example of a good starter bow IMO. What are you drawing for weight at your draw length?

I couldn't resist posting this picture too. Even though I know some of you have seen it on the WE site. This is what my groups look like after a couple weeks. Please don't take this as bragging. It's just that I want to encourage people to go traditional. This is the BOMB!
