It's good but there is a good degree of stack right at 28" and I am shooting it better at 27" which is easy enough to do if I remember to hit that forward anchor. I tend to overdraw any bow so although 28" is comfortable....27 is just as easy and hits as good a point of anchor. The elbow is aching again because of the shock. It's not real shocky , just enough to revive an old ailment The biggest thing will be to re-train to a degree that will have me anchoring on the correct point when a hunting shot comes into play. Everything goes into auto pilot when I hunt and that's when I would anchor at 28" I will play around today and see if I can better these issues

Yeah, when I shot my Bear I had stack, too. Along with the finger pinch! The bow was just to short for me... As to your wanting to anchor at 27 inches and having worries about hunting - you might go with a shorter arrow, one that won't let you over-draw the length you've picked for this bow. I have long arrows for normal shooting, and short ones for bows with less draw length than normal for me. I also use the short ones when someone wants to shoot an all wood bow of mine, I make sure that they can not over-draw the bow by giving them a short arrow. Anyway, just a thought! Arrow length might help your worries... Of course, then you have to tune things up again as well.

Spent some time working up some different shafts and head weight last night and today and had good results with a number of different combinations. The 2213 shafts are still the best of the bunch. @ 60# a 30" 2213 with a 150gr. head flies very well. (as skipmaster can attest to) The same 2213 @ 28 1/2" flies just as well with a 190gr. head. The 150gr. set up has a better gap from 20 - 25 yards but I am not going to be shooting 25 yards The 190 grain flies spot on to 20 yards with a larger gap at 25 yards. It would seem that the 190 is the best set up and the Simmons heads perform well so far. I will have to do a penetration test to know what set up I am going to go with long term. It's great to get back to the fun and away from the frustration for a change

Excellent! Sounds like you are just about ready to go hunting... Yes.....but I have to find a better sharpening system for the Terminators I spent awhile trying different things yesterday but I am not happy with my results If I cant achieve what I want I will have to break down and bet a blitz system. The best luck I had was with a steel but I just didn't do well enough on the leading point.

I wish you all the luck with this set up BT. How much time do you folks have left down there to hunt?
