;DWell, actually it does look OK...but you know I can't post pics from home..maybe I'll bring the camera to you Sunday and you can download them for me.
I'm a bit concerned that the very end of the tips didn't lay down tight the way I wanted, so I ran in some TBIII glue and reclamped it for the rest of the day....no hurry....waaaait! just wait.
PAtience grasshoppa!

OK...the glue-up went well...I removed the re-born bow from the form Sat. morning, and cleaned it up Sunday morning as I wanted it to sit an extra day. I think it looks pretty good, the form gave a more subtle curve to the limbs and I ended up with 1.25" deflex with the tips sitting 2.5" in fornt of the riser, so that's a total reflex of 3.75". Floor tillering shows it bending some..about 3-4 inches, pretty strong..maybe 50-55lbs right now....now comes the tillering. Pics below as promised. Here, I left the clamps on at the tips to make sure it didn't start to de-lam here. Riser after cleanup-Boo belly tapered and fade into riser. What's left of the maple belly made the tip wedge for the boo to taper off into. tiller-tiller-tiller!

Not to be critical but it appears that there are some huge gaps in the glue lines.
otherwise its lookin sweet! You are getting good at this

Thanks guys....and SMJ especially...I appreciate all the encouragement. To CocoCola....I looked it over and I don't find any great big gaps...if you're referring to the taper at the fades, yeah, there may be some gaps there, but I think it's more the angle you look at it. Also, after I chamferred the belly tonite, the gaps that were there are now so small that they don't pose a problem as I see it. If they were between core wood and backing, out farther on the limb I'd be upset, but for now, it's time to tiller.... What's your opinion SMJ? Close enough for horseshoes?

I say you've got it glued up - give it a try! I don't see anything in the pics that jumps out and says stop.... So, try the tillering and see what you end up with.

Well, I've been told that I HAVE to post some pics from last night! She came in underweight...only draws 30 lb at 28 in. 64 in ntn, 1.5 at fades tapered to .5 nocks. Hickory backed - boofloo belly lam. Now I need to sand-stain and finish her, get her shot in and find the right spined shafts. The lone woodie (never mind) is simply a 5/16 dowel from the Depot. I didn't even have a point to use so screwed on a nut for tip weight. The carbons were available so I used them, but it doesn't seem right for a longbow. Best 10 yard group, shg off the knuckle. Gotta get a rest made now. She starts with a 1.5 in. reflex, dropping to 1.5 in. deflex after shooting. Comes back to 1.5 reflex after a couple hours at rest. She's fun to shoot at least...I think I'll keep her!
