I am giving up on expecting my peep to be dead on with out a string loop or rubber tube. It's good for a while then it go's nuts.Today I got them (both bows) just the way I need them to be and took white out and put a 1/2 inch mark on the lower peep serving. Now I have a reference mark to look at with out guessing.I hope this works

OFB. First...make sure that the loop is waxed up good before tightening. Then, set the bottom portion of the loop lower than you need. The top won't move, but the bottom will sneak up a bit. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten the loop. I'm sure there are some pics somewhere on the site. I find that once it bites into the serving it will not move again. btreviews.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=helporhelp&action=display&thread=4368

Taking the loop off helps. Only serve the top of the peep, leaving the serving 1/4" above the peep....or more.
I have never seen a peep turn on a no-twist string unless the string is stretching or something more sinister is afoot. Check the ATA and Brace and record that figure to the 64th. You may have more going on that string stretch.

The serving is very tight!...that can cut the snot out of the string....blow up right in your face. The serving is too long...again, it wont let the string move and you will get binding. The binding lets going chops as stress is added repeatedly from the shots. and the string slowly turns as the binding is spit out. Precursor to the potential for cutting. The bottom is complicating the issue. My opinion?..... Cut it all off....reset the peep....do a double over under square knot (knotting then crossing to the other side and knotting again and then repeating. Make 4 crosses, double knot and cut the x-tra off. Tack with a spot of super glue. shot 30-50 arrows fine tune and your done. With all that said....if the string is junk....nothing is going to matter. With that peep....you have the distance from top to serving about right

I have fixed several for others and a time or two for myself that had this condition. It appears that the peep is set wrong in the string...and not a condition of string stretch. This can be solved with a little time and effort. If you take a few strands of the green string and (as it is view in this photo), move those strands around to the "front" (right as viewed here) to the other side of the peep where the brown string is, and move a few strands of the brown sting around the back (as viewed here) to the opposite side to the green string, it should solve your problem. Just a few strands is all it usually takes. With this action, your are just releasing moving strands to pull the peep around. Of course you have to remove the serving to do this and reserve when you are done! JMHO

Being a Mathews, have you checked your Axle to Axle, Brace height and timing? Any of these being off could be a reason for your peep being off.
