In that case....I'd abandon the scent posts and food and wait till season. They are going to come running when they smell it after a short time without

Already pulled it at our first choice to hunt, am teaching them to come to it in an area we hunt more (and have less luck) that is closer to home. The first area we only spend one week each year as it is so far from home. I belive more deer have responded in the second area then we thought were there.

Please take a picture or two for our website!. Also....when you get a picture of you holding a bottle of Butternut over your quarry, you get a free booster bottle of butter nut

Had a set-up in the deep woods for two days with no takers. Moved it to my first food plot that is getting hammered because they are eating it faster than it can recover. It's raining now so I hope that will help.I put the cam out in the early afternoon and put two apples and some corn.I picked it up this morning and was surprized to see the apples and corn still there.I had 10 pictures of deer eating my Full Draw.Sad to see only the one fawn.

I love this thread and I can't wait to put butternut to sue this season. OFB whats up with "your" deer? They all look a little thin. I think that you have to fatten them up a little more before Tuesday. Bob

OFB I have had the same results with the deer not eating the treat by the butternut. Keep it up OFB and soon your freezer will be full.

I am surprised also at how thin the deer look.I figured with all the green growth this year they should be in better shape .I can see the old does with fawns sucking the life out of them but I don't see that many fawns.
