Here in NY it is illegal to use an artificial light and there have been convictions for the nuke waste pins as well I have used blue light but only on preserve hunts or when having to shoot at night. It makes a world of difference In fact , it makes so much difference that I cant think of a time of night when I couldn't hit whatever it was I shot at.....as long as I could see my target Now for those who don't use some light assistance , what sight do you use for it's ability to gather light?

It is illegal to use artaficial lighted sights here in MT too. So I use the skylight bye MBG, it is very bright even after legal shooting times.

i have the vital bow gear angular proslide. that thing is so unbeleivably bright even after the sun goes down with out the light. i do have the light on it as well but it has 3 ft of fiber wrapped around the outside of the sight with a glow in the dark strip under the fibers so all i have to do is flick the light on for a second or two then turn it off and shoot. the thing is unreal

I've had them, but don't care for them. The best was a pse, 4 light settings. I think they make the target darker. Taken to practising in the dark. Funny thing about it is I found that I was naturally shooting low and right. Pins are bright enough during the time I can shoot something. If I can't see the pin I can't see the target and by then I can't see the woods I'm shooting through. I try to memorise each thing in front of the shot, but by the time it's dark my brains a blurr from stairing. Can ya tell I've been there before. Like putting together a puzzel in the dark and not knowing where the table is. CJ pro 111. That glow strip things clever.
