I am not sure what to do. I like the QAD drop away but since it went on I have picked up and awful rattle in the bow when I shoot it. I am 90% sure it is coming from the rest but am still trying to make sure of it before I do anything drastic. Has anyone else run into this kind of thing with there drop away?

Lots of things can rattle and make noise... Do you hear the rattle when you shake the bow, or just when shooting it? You might lift the rest about to where it is when at full draw and just drop it. Release it clean so that it bounces down as it might during a shot. See if you hear anything. Any quiver on the bow? If so, take it off, see if the rattle goes away. A rattle that sounds off at every shot is a rattle that wants to be found! When I shot a drop away rest, it made a loud noise when it smacked down on to the shelf. I had to put a little pad there to get rid of it... But I would not have called it a rattle. Your issue sound like it might be a bit different? ??

You might want to give the Limbdriver a try. I really like mine.

Well I went from the W/B to the Ripcord and so far I love it.Takes a little getting used to but my longer shots are much better. The only noise I got was the arrow sliding on the draw. Two little peaces of mole skin and it is quiet.

I am going to have some friends watch real close while I shoot to see if we can pin point it.

Dumb question, but are all the screws tight? Is there a little set screw that locks it down after the main bolt through the Berger button is tight? And is that one tight? Do you have a piece of rubber, or moleskin on the shelf where the forks hit? Just trying to help... But seriuosly....I'll take it off your hands if you don't like it...

I gotta agree with spiker (bugger beat me to the punch on taking the rest off your hands ) check out the set screw that locks down the rest - it may not be tight. while holding the bow in your left hand - thump the front of the riser just below the sight with the heel of your right hand hard enough to make things rattle - then find what is rattling!

This is a big part of the problem. You need to level the rest mount and pull it back. Is the lock bolt making it all the way to the riser?. Is the rest against the riser or the inserted block?. You need to set the rest so that the prongs are above the shelf when they are relaxed. Thats the first thing too do Yes I know.....you are going to have to adjust the nock point up if you do that but do it anyway
