Wish I had some left because I would have just sent you some to fool around with. They are pretty darn rugged IMO and should (should) stand up well for a time. I know what your saying about being rough Haven't tried the Nap quick spins, but from what I've read on many forums, the 2" Blazers are cheaper and do not require the specific hand offset of the Quick Spins. . The quickspins are not suposed to be used with an offset. Straight fletch. Offsetting the quickspin will screw up it's funtion. This is one of the reasons the vane never took off , becasue of poor performance due to people using it in a 2degree offset jig.

I'll pass that along at the right time and place, lol.

WoW, kinda strange to be part of a site that allows you to speak crossbows, thanks BT!..... I have 2, but have only shot each of them once, they hang from my ceiling as a way of kinda de-sensitizing myself to the fact that one day, if I am lucky, crossbows may be the only way I can hunt... they are very old... one is a kit built in the 50's, metal bow, steel cable for a string on a handmade stock... the other... it's an original native hunting crossbow from Thailand, bamboo bow, the string is some kind of natural fiber, like jute or something twisted by hand, the wooden stock looks like some kind of rosewood, the trigger is bone, and is all handmade, even has bamboo bolts with 2 bamboo fletches each, I got this from a man a little older than I, who told me that his father had been a missionary over there in the jungles, and that this bow was the chiefs personal bow, gifted to his father as a thank you, and it hung on his fathers wall till he passed away, he brought it back in 1960.......it is beautiful, very used and very special to me, and when I'm on a site that crossbows come up, there's always a few that come and say crossbows aren't traditional, well I just look up at that old piece of history and see the blood stained trigger, the worn string, and think to myself... they don't get much more traditional than that.......Steve

I own a Horton Hunter Surpreme. I have shot many deer with it and my wife shot her first deer with it. I have a few friends that think I should get rid of it, but I like it and I hope my kids will use it take there first deer as well.

They think sence we shoot more with a compound bow that we should get rid of it, it's not a challenge anymore. My friends forgot that not to long ago I introduced them to the compound bow. I think it is great that they love to them but they need to learn that a crossbow is another great hunting tool and is just as much of a challenge.

I don't have one, but I am tempted. Heck, I like all kinds of hunting.

I have two and I am teaching my son how to shoot one and hopefully he may be able to take a deer with one soon. I got my first back in "98" when I was involved in a work related accident and was not able to pull my bow back. I still have my compound bow but my xbow never really collects dust. I feel no matter what you hunt with doesn't matter what matters is get out there.

I just picked up a Horton Summit HD. I had a Tenpoint Elite Lite in '05-06. Sold the 10pt in '07 and got a lefty Bowtech. The Tenpoint was a very good bow, but it was like toting around a log (11lbs fully loaded ). But, I knew I couldn't be without an xbow for long. It's good to have choices .
