No kidding? Are you talking about bolts? I have no problems with my bolts in the 18/1 Maybe the finish on the GT's?

I had 4 doz GT L II's and bought an 18-1. Using an arrow pulling pair of pliers, it took all two of us had to get them out. It's the finish on the shafts and they "weld" themselves in the target. I tried all known lubes on shafts and some home-brew concoctions to no avail and ended up having to return the target. Fwiw: Danny Miller, Excal warranty rep for USA turned me onto his version of the GT's, brass inserts, 4" vanes, total weight w/ 100 gr point= 431 gr. FOC, about 19%, perform great for me, so wasn't going to change over a target. I really liked the target too. Had same results w/ both an Emax and a Phoenix, 328 fps and 285 fps.

I had the sorry distinction of being the first person to ever return a Rinehart target. Fwiw: shot same arrows into one several years old last Feb in Tx and had same results. The two just don't mix, very unfortunate, IMHO.

Agreed that it is unfortunate for you but again ... thanks for the input. Hopefully someone will read this thread through before buying their target if they happen to share the same bolts in common with you.

I also use the feedbag with an Excalibur Equinox. It works better than anything I have ever used. The arrows are so easy to remove. I have a Morrell Crossbow block and it's a different story. A broadhead goes all the way through it and it's brand new. It is also very difficult to remove.
