I like stroganoff made with snapping turtle. Shortly after I was married my wife said it would be eaiser tenderize the meat if we cooked it off the bones in a pressure cooker. I had never tried this approach and never will again. Appearently the pressure cooker tenderized the meat and liquified the bone marrow. The resulting mess was greenish, slimy, and tasted like rotten pond weed and dead fish. I still eat snapping turtle stroganoff but the pressure cooker stays in the cabinet. Ghost

Earthworms. Yep, I think the nastiest thing I ever tried to eat was an earthworm. You didn't try to chew them did ya? If you have to eat one just swallow em. Worst thing I have ever tried to eat was a fermented egg. Looks awful, smells awful and tastes the same. It was one of those do as the locals and gotta try it once things.

Ghost Never tried turtle in a stroganoff. We always just breaded it and fired the crap outta it. :-) Almost everything tastes good fried.

Never tried turtle in a stroganoff. We always just breaded it and fired the crap outta it. :-) Almost everything tastes good fried. Not Porqupine
