This is the one I've been using: Carter Quickie 2 Plus. I've tried quite a few (caliper releases that is, both single and double jaw) and I'd occasionally get a "hang-up" on them. Never with this release. Very smooth and quick to get on the string loop. I'd highly recommend.

I like the way these look. I will have to get a new release this year, and my Truefire does some damage to my loop...

I really like my Cobra Green Mamba R2 I think. It has the dual caliper. Always a buckle. I stopped using releases with a velcro strap when I climbed into my stand one morning at 0 dark thirty and started to put on my release. Next thing that happen was the woods exploded with the sounds of deer snorts and hoof beats heading away from me.

I recently got the Scott Sabertooth and although there are things I would change....it's a great release. I have always been a fan of the roller release but not for string loops
