I have never shot with a stabilizer on my bow. Does it really make that much difference in hunting shots 20-35 yards?

My stab makes the bow feel so much better........does it actually help my shooting? I think a bit, but who knows. Never shot with it off

I had a stab on my old bow, but didnt get one on the new one, if I think it feels like it might help, I may take the one from the old and stick it on the new and see what happens.

On my 2002 , the bow is so top heavy , it actually makes a big diffrence. On the 2004 it is balanced and a stabilizer makes no diffrence at all.
I use a stabilizer for balance only ....

I like more weight, thats why I usuall shoot a heavy stab. A heavy bow is a steady bow

I agree wholeheartedly that the heavier bow wins for accuracy but lately....a heavy bow is a burden to carry to the stand. Go ahead.....you can say it

Packing a heavier bow to the stand is better than packing it all day long, up and down the mountainside
