I have a PSE Nova bought as bass pro, my question is this, I am a average sized guy, 5' 10, and they set me up for a 30" draw, with release. As I said in earlier post, am new to hunting and really don't know anything bout my bow, but I believe I am shooting from the same release point every time, and everything I do is as the same as i can get it, but my groups seem to be inconsistent. I was just out shooting and really good for me but seemed like I would group 2 almost on top of each other and the 3rd would be 6 inches right, am I doing something wrong you think? is my bow not correctly set up? any thoughts appreciated and thank you

I just started bowhunting last year myself. I am over 6' 2" and my draw length is set at 28.5". I am using a release not shooting with fingers. I bought my bow from a quality pro shop and they set it up for me. They also gave me a few shooting lessons with the purchase. If there is a good bow shop in your area I would have them check your setup and maybe get a lesson or two. I know that the lessons helped me they stopped some bad habits before I really had them. Also the people here are a bunch of help. What ever you do don't get discouraged.

Can you post some pictures? while your thinking about that....have you checked your true draw length? Very easy to do.....have someone use a tape measurer and while you hold your hands straight out in front of you (as if you were doing a dive) have them measure from the throat to the tip of your middle fingers. That is your draw length Now..... Unless you are left handed and opening up due to being taxed after a couple of shots , I doubt that this is your issue although it could be part of it. First lets check that equipment and if it is a shooting form issue , lets get you to our Staff Pro Vonottoexperience for some further help First you have to mark you arrows so that we will know if this is an arrow that is causing the problem or not. Mark the arrows and then shoot ten rounds of three arrows. (and you do not need to shoot them all at once ) When retrieving your arrows note what number is where. If one arrow is always outside the others then we can fix that arrow more than likely but we need to find it first (I assume that this happens with field points correct?) Lets get these two questions answered first and then we can move on

ok that measured 28.5, will mark and shoot tomorrow as it be dark out now lol, I am left handed but shoot everything right handed gun, bow, right eye dominant and is just more comfy for me that way also. I am using 125gr g5 practice heads, #4560 carbon fury arrows that measure 30" from indent in nock (where string goes) to end of arrow minues tip. I have a long ways to go before I even consider being discouraged, just needing some good direction and this seems to be the best site to get it.

Need the bow weight and you need to adjust that draw length down. Too Short is better than too long any day under any circumstances. If your bow will not go to the 1/2" mark then take it to 28" ..... trust me on this Your arrows will now be to long and if you can , you should cut them by the same amount as you are reducing the draw length. If your rest is center of the riser or behind it then go an x-tra 1/2" if you want. Again....trust me on this .... regardless of what your "Pro shop" says. I believe that you should not bother shooting these groups which I had suggested earlier until your set up correctly and then only if you are still seeing the wild arrow. I believe that indeed you are opening up on the shot due to being over drawn.

Good deal:) We will be right here when it's done and no sense in you taking time off from here while you wait Could be that there are other issues (or not) that you'll find by continuing to talk about your rig

Have looked at psc owners manual, useless, and it appears the cams arent labeled . OOOOhhhh and I will throw this out there for anyone new to buying bows, if it doesnt come in the box u may need to ASK for the owners manual, especially if buying at big box stores.

If you can take a pic and post it then we can help Take a picture of the cam on both ends of the bow. We want to see where the bowstring is tagged. Let us see the whole cam (close up) with a little space around the crop of the picture. I am willing to bet that this bow has a quick change module and if so we can tell you how to adjust. Where the bow string comes back to the cam , look for numbers or multiple drilled and taped holes in the plate that the string abuts or comes over.
