I really like the ripcord as well as the QAD. either one would be in my top picks.

I'm using the Rip Cord with no problems..the only advantage that I can see with the Quad is that the rest doesn't fall if you just have to let down. I've never owned one though, so maybe someone here that does could give you a better idea. Oops..skip beat me to the punch..great look at the different rests skip. Hey , I've also heard that a lot of people are going with their cords attached to the cable slide, rather than the down cable with the Quad...any insight on that?

Hey , I've also heard that a lot of people are going with their cords attached to the cable slide, rather than the down cable with the Quad...any insight on that? I have never seen that so I have no idea how it works......

I vote for the Ripcord rest also have had one for 2 yrs new very good rest IMHO!

Wow Skip! :-*Thanks for the great thread on the rest reviews. After having read the whole thing, I am thinking of the WB in a more favorable light. I certainly want a containment rest for hunting. I doubt that I will be hunting in really cold weather so that wouldn't be an issue with the QAD but I am a firm believer in the KISS principle, so the WB wins . Thanks to all who commented
