Found out tonight that his Dad passed yesterday sometime. I didn't even ask if a package had arrived and actualy forgot about it as his problems were first on the list of things to talk about. I will be over on Friday night and will be going to the funeral on Saturday. I will find out about the limbs then.
Thanks for you thoughts BT they are appreciated.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friends Dad. We buried my brother in law three weeks ago who also had cancer. 58 years old is too young. Cancer knows no age.
Thoughts and prayers for his family.

First off my buddies place is getting back to normal slowly. They had the funeral today so things can move forward now. I also picked up the package from BT with the new limbs in it. Yea right was I shocked. here is the upper limb. The lower limb. The riser. Yup I said riser. I meant to take a pic as it came out of the box but forgot so here it is with a small amount of work done to it. The sight and cable guard are on but that is all. and here it is after I got done playing with it this evening. I can not wait to shoot this bad boy. This thing was new in the box and he sent the cam package for different draw lengths as well. It is plain to say the archers in the archery world sure do stick together. I already told BT that if anyone knows of someone with a Bear Sportsman that needs parts to let me know. Keep in mind the upper limb is shot.

Didn't even know that site but thats a good one Now tell me how this thing feels after tomorrow Do you think you can add one turn to the limbs and make 60#? With the 80% it certainly shouldn't be an issue with holding full draw and that should give you a flat 25yrd. shot with a 5.5" drop for 30yrds. Set the first pin for 3" high at 15 yards and you should be able to hold dead center out to 30 yards and hit the lungs every time. Hold the pin on the back @ 35yards and smoke that same deer easily. At least thats what is supposed to happen (I am talking about a carbon arrow in the 320 - 335gr. range ....total weight)

Wow! Still learning bet that surprised you huh? Funerals are really all about the family ... it's good to here you are sticking with them ... not a whole lot else I know to say on that point. BT - I gotta admit at first I wondered if there was a riser connected to the limbs, but then I thought "nah He wouldn't do THAT would he??" So I began to think it was a few extra parts too... then here's the funny part ... I read your last post before I saw what was in the box and I'm wondering if you lost a few marbles and how in the world a Bear Sportsman was gonna make those yardage specs. Finally then I looked back to see what you had sent him May you be richly blessed for your generosity. rc

There are very few groups of people that would stick together like that. We all have to stick together. We are all we have got!!! Stilllearning like they said, no excuses left. I am sure you will make good use of that beast. Good luck and shoot straight!!
