Ok, I've been shooting a compound for all of about 2.5 years and I've been using an old 1980's model Browning Timberwolf. It shoots great and I took a deer with it. So it is a good bow. But, it was a hand me down and it wasn't really mine. Just borrowed permanently from a friend. BUT, today my '05 Reflex Grizzly came in that I bought off of AT. It's not the latest and greatest, but I got a great deal on it and it's probably 20 years newer than my old bow. Haven't got a chance to shoot it yet, but maybe someday this week. Pics of my new baby: And my new Tru-Glo Xtreme 5-pin sight that i just bought. BTW, thanks a whole lot to BT, for advising me on this purchase. I really wanted to be able to shoot any bow that I bought before I committed, but this was too good to pass up and he gave me advice on how it shot and felt. He wasn't lying either. Thanks a whole lot!!

That's great Mr.T My son has taken to shooting the Grizzly recently and he is finding it easy to torque so if you are having it happen to you at times , let me know and I'll snap some pics for you on how we found a way to correct for it every time Hopefully we will hear about how it shoots by dark tonight

Congrats! Just from 5 years ago bows are so much smoother and more quiet for the speed. You'll enjoy your new bow immensely!

Took it to the shop yesterday to get everything squared away. I know a lot of the theory behind setting a bow up, but don't have the workspace to do any of it, but luckily the guy at the shop is a great guy and he'll have it set up by Friday.
Hopefully I'll post some pictures of how it shoots on friday.

I love my Grizzly. Can't really tell what strings/cables you have. I picked up 5 fps when I put on Winners Choice. I am sure there are other brands that will give you a speed upgrade over stock ones, if that is what they are. Mine is set at 70# with a 30" draw and avgs 285 with an occasional 289 fps shot.
