Do we ever really take pics of the bad ones!! ;D
Maybe we should start a thread of bad groups. I don't have any pics at the moment, but I could get some pretty quick! ;D

Spiker, you bring up a good point. Tomorrow I will really try and shoot my best group at 50yds. I will take a pic of the group, however it lands without any warm up.
I will then do the same at 30yds.
I'll show my worst groups, while still trying to keep those groups tight.

Do we ever really take pics of the bad ones!! ;D hehe. Not usually. But, sometimes we can show that the group is not 'rigged'. I was posting some groups on AT and PSE and a couple people accused me of pulling arrows until I got a 'good' group. So, after shooting some warm ups on the bag I took blue insulation and my Montec practice heads and shot two arrows into the clean insulation. That picture usually shuts them up afterwards. Not to say that I shoot dimes (real dimes, not 3D X's) all the time. But 20 yards I hold my own and 30yds is solid. Now I just need to start practicing more out to 40. No 80 yd shots here in Maine, so 40 will do it for me. Skip shot on the DVD with one long continuous loop of video. Nice to see the groups from a distance, and there are no video cut aways. He just flat out shoots a dime sized group. It was great to see.

I think this is a pretty good example of a 50yds spread. the two together were perfect, with the higher one, I didn't settle on my target enough. The space between the lower ones and the top one is about average though, after a warm up shot or two. If I really have agood day and concentrate hard I can get them tighter though. I have found that shooting 2 eyes open is SO much more accurate, especially for long range shooting. You guys were right, I can't believe it took me so long to figure that out.

I know skips a tack driver, no doubt about it. I was just trying to making a comical statement, as it relates to all of us in the archery world. No one can hit Xs every time. And seriously, we should start a thread with some of the worst groups that we've shot. As soon as it stops snowing, I'm going to shoot groups at 30 yds, take pics of all of them and post the worst! And skip, I too am now a convert to both eyes open!

I'm game! I'll shoot in the am and post what I shoot. I'll see if I can get some cardboard so everyone can see the holes......like shaman did with the faom.
