Well ain't this interesting ;D Actually..... I see what the idea is and it is a pretty cool way of being able to super tune one bow to meet Many specs without having to super tune That being said..... It is SOOOO UGLY!

The funnt thing about this design is that it should really work. Jim Despart from martin had actually drawn up a bow very similar to this a few years ago, thinking it would ensure the limbs would bend at exactly the same spot everytime making them very accurate...............he never did anything about it though. Ugly or not if it works it works.

Agreed..... but unless it is something super in the performance dept. no one is going to be busting down the doors of their dealers I think.

I'll let you know how it shoots when the shop gets one in. Should be pretty soon.

I personally like the looks. But then again I've been accused of being nuts ibn the past. The design should help extend the life of the limbs as well as increase efficiency. That is one nice feat of engineering.

I like it "Ugly is as ugly does" If it shoots good who cares what it looks like ;D

If it shoots good who cares what it looks like ;D Lots and Lots of people. If the AMC Pacer could out race a Ferrari, people still would not be laying down 100k for the Pacer. Weak analogy I know, but for the common person who can get an attractive bow that shoots better than they ever will, an ugly bow (even a great shooting one) will only sell to people really high on their own shooting ability or who like to stand out in the crowd no matter the cost.

Look at "how ugly" the hoyt tech risers were when they first came out. some people still hate them but many such as myself think they are kinda sexy.

I would not call the Hoyt risers 'ugly'. Unique maybe. A Replica of a Klingon weapon, perhaps. But the Hoyt riser does not look like two tree crooks welded together and camo'd.

Only time will tell if this was in fact a bad move on BT's part. As I said I will report how the bow actually shoots sometime this month.
