Not seeing any deer in the farm I walk to from my house.No
food.Every time I go to big farm I see deer around corn mid
day.My back is killing me from sitting in a tree stand so I figured
I would start helping out with my crop damage tags.Got to one
cut hay and standing corn field about 5:30.Walked along stone
wall at far end of cut hay field up to wood line than down to a
corner of the corn so I could cover the field on my right and the
rear of the corn that they brush hog.Moon was very bright till
first light.Ground fog with the rising sun on the crest of the field.
I was looking to my left for deer leaving corn for the woods.I
turned to my right and there is this big doe looking at me.I never
thought she would give me a shot but I got my rifle onto my
shooting sticks(home made) and nailed her.Wish I had it on film.
With the red sun light behind her and the cool morning fog I can
really say I smoked her!!!!!
