I just mounted one on my recurve and it looks pretty good to me. I don't like the 50' of line because when I am shooting at Carp that are 20 yards away, thats gonna suck to see my arrow come up 10' short of the mark
Aside from that, this reel seems better thought out than the old standard barrel style rigs. This barrel is dished across the body so that line drag is minimal at the bottom of the barrel, where it normally comes off the reel the hardest.
For the money, I don't think you could do any better.
