Question on shooting/bow sights

Appreciate if anyone can help with this problem.

I shoot with a HHA OL 5000 single pin sight and carbon arrows. I shoot dead balls on at 20 yards but when I move the sight and shoot at 30 yards I always shoot about 3" to the right. As far as I know I shoot the same way at both distances so I can't understand why I shoot to the right at 30 yards. Anybody have any ideas/advice?

what happens when you leave the pin set at 20yds and move back to shoot at 30yds.......other than shooting lower. if you still shoot to the right, your bow isn't tuned. If you shoot in line your sight is not mounted level.

I agree with greg, you need to do walk back tuning
do a search here and you will find instructions on walk back tuning
it's not about your sight it's about where your rest is..... if you can't find pm me and i'll walk you through...

first gut call is along the same lines as jamalty; however Greg has a good point. Rule out your single pin sight 3rd axis being off and just use the 20 yard pin at longer distances. You would expect to see your arrows low but in line windage.

Also check arrow spine and fletch contact - still suspect your rest needs to move left a 1/16"....

Exactly, if you shoot to the right without moving the sight, slightly....slightly move the rest to the left in increments until 20, and 30 are on the same horizontal plane.
